About Hotel Continental Mare
The unique location, in a large terraced garden overlooking the Cafiero bay, offers to customers of the Hotel Continental Mare magnificent views of the Gulf of Naples. The villa, originally built by an American tycoon, lover of Ischia has been expanded over the years, but remains in the nature of casual elegance of a private residence. The swimming pools nestled in the hillside and the beach offer delicious corners of tranquility, while the panorama from the restaurant is an appropriate complement to a very special cuisine that respects the Mediterranean tradition.

Rooms
The pastel colours of the furnishing make the rooms bright and welcoming. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, mini-bar, Sat-TV, direct dial telephone, safe and hairdryer.
The Superior Rooms enjoy a wonderful view of the sea, while the Junior Suites, in addition, are endowed with an extra large living room. Also after a short stay, the memories of the beautiful cobalt-blue bay you can admire from the terraces and balconies of most of the rooms and suites will be a long-lasting association with Ischia.

Pools
The hotel is endowed with two thermal swimming pools differing in size and temperature. The pools, surrounded by large terraces equipped with beach-umbrellas and sun loungers, ensure a relaxing and tonic bath experience, while always enjoying the marvellous sight of the Gulf of Naples. Both the swimming pools can be accessed from 8.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.
The Garden Pool with thermal water at a temperature of 34°C is surrounded by a soft English-style lawn with a large sun-terrace directly overlooking the enchanting bay of Cafiero.
The Panoramic Pool is framed by a panoramic terrace area with a gorgeous view of the Neapolitan coastline. With a length of ca. 20 m and a temperature of 30°C, it is ideally suited to firm the body and improve circulation.

From 7.30 to 10.00 a.m. you can start your day with the rich buffet breakfast on the terrace, framed by a magnificent sight.
Lunch (between 1.00 and 2.30 p.m.) is also served on the terrace. Creative cold and warm dishes and mouth-watering specialties will be the main actors at this time of the day. On demand, lunch service is available also for guests who are in a room with breakfast and for those who have booked a half-board room with choice between lunch and dinner.
Taking into account the nearby swimming pool, it is possible to wear informal clothes.
The snack service available between 10.00 a.m. to midnight on the terrace or directly at the sun loafers around the swimming pool offers a wide choice of products, and is a nice alternative for a short break or the little hunger in-between.
Dinner is served in the elegant, Mediterranean-style restaurant offering an unforgettable sea view. Delicate and tasteful dishes of the local cuisine are prepared with greatest care and only with the best ingredients. Dinner is served from 7.30 to 9.00 a.m. and a dress-code in line with the elegant ambience is recommended.
