About Hotel Ideal
Fully refurbished, the small and quiet Hotel Ideal is surrounded by an oasis of green and lies in Forio, one of the six towns of the island of Ischia. Its location makes it perfectly suitable for those who wish to spend a relaxing and comfortable stay thanks also to its nearness to the historical centre as well as the most beautiful beaches of Forio. A few steps from the wide free beach of “Cava dell’Isola” and a few hundred metres from the bay of Citara, boasting both its beach and the famous Poseidon Gardens.

Rooms
Opening a window and enjoying the sea view means pure holidays. In fact, most of our 24 rooms – all having balcony or terrace – offer a wonderful view on the breathtaking bay of Citara or the equally wonderful bay of San Francesco. Recently refurbished, all rooms are endowed with private bathroom, direct dial telephone, TV and SAT-TV, hairdryer, safe-deposit box, air conditioning and heating.

Restaurant
The comfortable restaurant room represents the ideal surroundings for our absolutely tasty local and international cuisine. Moreover, the hotel puts at guests’ disposal a pretty bar with garden terrace offering both local dainties and à la carte menus to be tasted alternatively to the traditional lunch in an outstanding natural scenario.

Pools
Through our 4,000 sqm garden rich in olive-trees, palms and luxuriant Mediterranean vegetation thus making attractive shading you can reach our two swimming pools: the bigger one is fed by fresh water with ambient temperature whereas the smaller one has the characteristic brown thermal water with a temperature of 38° C. In order to better enjoy thermal benefits both pools are endowed with hydro massage. Furthermore, for those who wish to keep fit, our bigger pool offers the chance of swimming against current. In this Ideal surroundings you will not only enjoy our water rich in health and beauty but will be also softly wrapped by the scents of nature, trees and flowers.

Facilities
Thanks to its privileged location near the Poseidon Gardens, one of the most renowned thermal parks in Europe, our Hotel is proud to offer stays in the name of beauty and wellness also by means of the two nearly located Spas and wellness centres. At a few metres from our hotel sport lovers can also reserve a tennis court. Easily reachable by public buses, we also offer a wide and free private parking area for our guests arriving by car.
