House Mosca is a large rock-dwelling that you can reach by walking the path of Pannoccia, a trail that leads from the forest of Falanga to Monterone. Situated in a secluded and protected area of 255 meters, perched on a cliff, consists of a compact tufa rock with a staircase carved into the stone made of small steps that allow illegal access to-top observatory.
The house is a significant example of mountain architecture for processing complex of Ischia and studied, as revealed by steps, from the grooves in the surface for the channeling of rainwater, the grinding wheel to sharpen tools derived directly in surface. On boulder is engraved the letter "M", starting in Moscow, as the original owner.
The house, completely carved in the tufa rock, was built by some farmers induced to settle in the woods of Falanga to avoid the difficult movements in the area.
