Pineta degli Atleti
It is characterized by a large central area where old oaks and pines that stand out are the vast majority of the zone of tree. The verdant meadow grass is enhanced by the presence of lava rock gardens with stones obtained from such plants sprout from the countries as warm Agaves, Mesebriantemi, Yuccas. Particularly pleasing is the scent given off by flowers of Ash and brooms. On the lava flow, from volcano Fiaiano, have also been hosted Corbezzoli, myrtles and heathers. This is also the pine forest of the sport men, prepared as a “green gym” with outdoor gear, routes and tracks specific and is frequented by people of all ages who like jogging and calisthenics.
