SEA IN YOUR MOUTH: SHRIMPS AND COBS
Spending is an extremely important social ritual. But I am talking about that one that is
done on foot, along the village, with bags that, gradually, increase in number. It is a social
dance that passes through different languages; it is the act of bargaining goods, fielding
intuition, impudence and trust. Who buys, buys himself, those elements that will become his
own body. Who cooks, prepares memories, browse the libraries of emotions, serving them at
the table to ritualize the unions of those gathering around the center of the emotional world:
the family.
