The new season is just round the corner and we begins with Ischia News & Eventi, the magazine with a high concentration of passion. A great passion for the island of Ischia, this land that is set in the center of gravity of the western Mediterranean waters. Here, where the beauty of nature and landscapes - above and below the sea - is complemented by the charm of the modern events that are still full of a mythical spirit. We asked those who love Ischia with our passion to sign, between words and images, the stories in this issue, marked by the calendar. Gian Paolo Porreca, fine writer with a love for cycling and for the views of Maronti and Mount Epomeo, gives us a wonderful tour through time and places to introduce us to GranFondo.

Similarly, Angelo D’ Abundo, engineer and globetrotter, with a genial smile, reveals the secrets of the underwater paradise, including octopus, barracuda, sailfin amberjack and magic fishing. The passion for the island is completed with the announcement by the publication of a new book, “Mille orti in mezzo mare”, which expresses the synthesis of an ongoing commitment to sustainability.
