Forio and his October between concerts and culture
Music creates ties and, often, shares the meaning and sense without knowing it. In its eighth edition, the activity of the cultural association “Ischia Musica”, with the patronage of the Campania Region and the municipality of Forio, resumes its consolidated vigor. In October 2017, from 15 to 22 pm, there will be alternating concerts and presentations to promote listening of the universal language, music, and reading. Forio will become a place in the “place” and, along with the opportunity to listen to the concerts on schedule, you can visit its ancient and characteristic churches - for example, that one of San Gaetano or the Arciconfraternita Visit Poveri -, or immerse yourself in the inexplicable but fascinating flow and sensitive notes and harmonic sounds.
The course coordinator, Corrado Pasquotti, and the flute teacher, Federica Lotti, who are frequent visitors to Ischia, again this year witness their passion for the island. Alongside chamber music, piano and violin, there will also be participation of first-rate artists. We find the daughter of French composer André Jolivet, Christine; or the presence of Robert Bresin of Venetian origins, professor at the KTH (the Royal Institute of Technology) in Stockholm, which will explain the possible correspondence and creation of music through the movement of the human body through technology. The exhibitions will alternate with open lessons scheduled from Monday to Saturday from 10.30 am at the churches of San Gaetano and Arci Confraternita Visit Poveri, the Torrione and the Ravino Gardens. Entry is free.
